Scott (Fordman) vs Scott (Enthalpy)
This is truley a war story and not a kill ! :o
Thanks to Scott (turboed 240 / Enthalpy) this was probably one of the best races I have had in a long time, not to mention the closest.
I wish I would have made a copy of the timeslip but bottom line I only won by .0312 ! Or in other words three one hundreths of a second
Here is how the run went:
Scott treed me :o , then I pulled back ahead a few cars up to half track, when I hit fourth I just starred into my left side mirror and watched him close in like a rocket ! He kept getting bigger and bigger in the mirror and right as we hit the stripe I looked over, the margin of victory was maybe a foot or two ! :o
I can not figure out which timeslip ( out of the ten from Sunday) is the run we had but maybe Scott remembers, if he does I will post the incremental times to show how close it was.
What a great run !

better track prep, more exp in driving , lower tire pressure, overall just more time on the track makes better times

i had the Imperial star ship "tractor beam" on full power realing in Fordman. But alas, it was not good enough.

I consistantly run in the low .500 range. I was not even thinking about my lights (R/T's) on Sunday, I was to fixated upon my new launch RPM's with the new gear in the car. Anyone here is welcomed to challenge me to a R/T battle !
