I brought the idea to all the admins and mods on this board and asked for there imput. We debated it for a few weeks and this is what we ALL (imports and domestic owners) came up with. And for the record the cut-off was going to be much higher if we did it like some of the others wanted. We can not just have everyone come and race or it would be another Club 1320. With long lines and minimal fast cars. Because the faster cars would not come and pay $30 to run if they were going to have to wait in line with 100+ other cars.
I am thinking about dropping the cut-off to 15.00 because the import tunrout has been low so far.
Got anything else you would like to ask or comment on ?

You know, I haven't really said much on this subject since I can't attend and my car wouldn't do well in the 1/4 anyways.
But I have to say its great that FordMan had taken the time and effort to put this thing together.
While there is no limit on spectators I can see if he has to set a threshold on participants it should be done by performance.
My compliments go out to FordMan and everyone else involved with this event even if they can't please everybody.

A thumbs up to Fordman for putting this one together....I am too slow, best e.t. of 15.2, but the traps are 95-96mph! Oh well, I have pretty much made plans to attend the auto-x that weekend....the whole weekend.

The only reason there is a 14.5 time limit to run is to make sure everyone who needs to run has time to run. We could care less in real life what your car runs, it's only for this special day we have reserved at the track.. We need to use our limited time wisely.
Though, EVERYONE is invited to come watch and or participate. FordMan has put alot of time and effort into this event.
I would like to see nothing but positive replies from this point forward. Negative feedback can be PM'd to FordMan, becuase I will hand remove the bitching from this thread if it continues. It seems like the harder we work to organize an event, the more people bitch at us about the event.
