Yeah, uhhh... Drag Radials on stock IRS halfshafts... uhhh... I'll pass for now. (Until the 03 halfshafts are readily available since they will be signifigantly cheaper than the GKN or Raxles)
Yeah, uhhh... Drag radials and stock shafts are fine. Look at my times in my sig. That was done on Nitto drag radials, stock halfshafts with a Vortech and 4.10 gears. I've got 300m chromoly halfshafts from DriveShaftShop.com (it's in my sig) that are waiting for install with my new set up. Hopefully with those and some slicks, I'll be in the low 1.6's, maybe a 1.5.
Btw, Marisela is running 12.9's @ 104.39mph w/ 1.74 60's on stock halfshafts with Nitto drag radials. They aren't even the 31-spline '01 and up axles like ours, they are the '99, 28-spline ones. She is also running those times with only a Steeda Tri-ax shifter, H&R springs and a K&N filter.

I'll second that....
Go with a 4.10 and a Tremec T-56 and save the money. JMHO.

humbug!!!! T-56 = 4 speed with 2 overdrive gears.
the ROD6 is a true 5 speed plus overdrive and is badass!!!! Selectable gear ratios (tons of options). It's way tougher.
and besides, my long term goal for the car (once I have a house with a proper garage to work on it in and a daily driver other than the cobra) is to build it into an opentrack car. Maybe even run American Iron.

From everythng I've read, it's still a matter of time until they sheer off and with the Cobra being my daily driver, I can't afford to have it unexpectedly out of comission.
