Honest Opinion
I've been having one hell of a time selling the Mustang. I know that I haven't been making it as visible as I should (i.e. autotrader, newspaper, etc.) which is part of my problem. The other part of my problem is people looking at me like I'm smoking crack when I say I'm asking $7k for the car.
In all honesty guys, do you think me asking $7k for the car is outrageous or what? Sure it has a ripped top and it is a 1987 model, but the rest of the car is just about visually and mechanically flawless. I'm not looking to rip people off, I just want to get back at least 1/10th of what was invested into the damn thing. Any ideas/opinions/feedback?

It sucks in the car industry when u sell a car that u have invested time and money in you'll never get anywhere near to what u put in it. Does it have any special items(heads, intake, etc.)? If I were u, post it over on corral.net and in the local mustang trader. I'm sure you'll find a buyer there. To answer your question, for being about 15 yrs old..... ya it's alittle too much. But then again I don't know what been do to it. -Mark

though for me, you'd have to change it to 10 inches, and you'd have to change inches to millimeters, and you'd have to change 10 to 5 and you'd have to change dick to poor excuse for one.

Mark, the question is not what has been done to it, but what hasn't. The fucker is so far from stock it's not funny. Off the top of my head I remember gt 40 heads, e303 cam, 306 block (I think), cobra intake, milodon pump and pan, forged pistons...basically the engine was completely redone top to bottom. Recovered interior that's flawless, beautiful paint in a factory "odd" color. Shitload of suspension work, exhaust, custom rollcage, bigger brakes...the list goes on and on. The car is worth every penny.

Yeah just about everything possible is done to the car aside from forced induction or NAWWWSSSSS. If anyone was curious to see exactly what was done to it, check out the link in my signature. I think I left some parts out of the description though.
Today, pending rain, I am going to a top shop and getting an estimate for a top repair. My father is willing to totally replace the top ($600-700), but the catch is I would have to drive up to Jax to get it done. This may be my only option if the top can't be repaired.
Thanks for your opinions. Keep 'em coming.
