TELL CHANNEL 8 WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THERE REPORT !
This report enrages me because it does not touch upon the alternative means to street racing just the negative stuff like all scum news reports do.
Try not to make us look like total bafoons and watch the language.

like i said before with the first report
california has a program that works pretty well
its called race legal
racelegal.com for info
they got a grant from thier dot
the money is distributed from a local college
they rent out thier stadium and let people drag race
they have cops that race the kids
they have modified cop cars and such
its been working pretty well
tampa need to work on solutions not just try and punish
yes we have 1320
but thats not a city sanctioned thing

from what ive heard (im @ work) they showed 'you know who's' face all over the report, mentioned the new law coming up, the court decision mentioned above, showed pictures of the '3rdshift' site, and took a couple quotes from some of the posts in the public forums.
Carey, as to the legal street racing, i cant see it being anything more than bullshit. We do legal street racing at 1320, and everyone knows how thats turned out....no one respectable will go near that event.
Racing on the street needs stricter laws and more enforcement to get rid of the idiots, ricers, and spectators. Only people left will be the ones who are serious about it.
Regardless street racing is bad, dont come out, goto Ybor or something.

i called the newsroom today and asked to speak with Keith. I got dumped to voicemail of course. Anyways im asking him to stop showing my face on the news reports...its getting old.
Originally this was gonna be a one time deal, show them semi-controlled street racing on a friday night, and they come with us to Desoto to show 1320 as a 'Here is street racing, this is whats being done to make it legal/safer' thing...of course it didnt work out that way.
Regardless, I'm sick it of, ive grown from that time period and im more than just a face on a news report.
