figured i might get some response in here.

'98 4.6L 2v, disassembled. was going to use for race engine, but going the 5.4 route instead. includes everything from TB to pan.

only thing for sure bad is the crank, everything else looks good.

Nope, you'll need a T45.

asking a question for a friend.

How easy is it to drop in a 4.6 into a v6 model 99+ stang? its an auto. what else would my friend need to complete this swap?

He might be intrested if it can work easily with little to no extra money.

k memeber tranny, brakes, suspension, if your gonna swap something into a new car, you should get something with real power,

it would be better and cheaper to buy a gt then to hack a v6 into one.

TRUE! it's always easier to get a car with a V-8 than to do transplant. I know cause that was the initial route I was going to take, but after doing the math it came out to be more expensive than just buyng it. The only exception is if you already have the car. Or you have a motor and a shitload of parts sitting in your yard.

there will probably be some money involved, as this this is COMPLETELY disassembled, and the crank is gone, although i was told it could be turned. again, i was going to use the block as a foundation for a turbo 4v motor, so i had no regard for anything other than the block. now im going the 5.4 4v route, and this thing is taking up too much space.
