It is a 2003 model year. I'm not sure if production has started yet or not. Best bet would be to stop by a Ford dealer to order/reserve one if you are serious. Check out the regular ZX5 while you are there. It may not be exactly what you are looking for in a 4-door. They are rather small...and are basically the regular ZX3 with sedan front doors and an extra set on the back.

I know it will be smaller than the Taurus but my wife just drives to and from work and if we go anywhere we take the Mule.
What are people getting for fuel mileage on the SVT Focus ? And how are the crash ratings ? I have kids you know ! Even though they rarely ride in anything else other than my 4,000 lbs. land barge.
