Well, they say(will fit Procomp heads we sell) Anything that has anything to do with procomp can suck monkeys nutz. I wouldnt trust them, if they are not legitimate enough to post the manufacturers name then I will take a pass. Thats just me.

No experience there.
Maybe you can try them and let us know how they do?

Personally, if your building a stock or mild NA motor then I dont see where trying them out could hurt. But if you need the utmost reliability and your motor is going to see a lot of stress,.. you cant go wrong with ARP studs. They arent that expensive for SBF,.. try pricing out ARP studs for the 4.6. You'll gladly pay what they want for the SBF after that LOL.

Yeah I read that too and thought the same thing. I've heard a lot of horror stories about people using Pro Comp heads, particularly problems with rockers lining up and such. I'd never use Pro Comp heads.

with shipping your only saving 30$ or so.... you can find ARP stuff for 90-100$ most places. I wouldnt bother. You get what you pay for when it comes to engine parts.

Hell, try pricing out studs for a powerstroke diesel, for my Excursion with the 6.0L I paid 525.00 for head studs. Yep, just for the headstuds 525.00. not including labor to put them in. Can we say sticker shock... When I am used to paying 80.00 for studs for a SBF.

wow, where did you buy those at? .... when i buy them. They are expencive, but not that expencive. FYI. Next thing you need to do to that 6.0 is EGR delete. Stud the heads, and EGR delete and those motors really wake up. They get ALOT more reliable as well.

Stupid ass me I got them on Ebay but then after I got on the boards more, I found them at Browns Diesel for 415.00 shipped. I purchased a Sinister EGR Delete and a new HPOP and STC pedestal and new Black Onyx head gaskets. So, hopefully I should be ready to go and to have this thing bulletproof after I am done, the sad thing is that none of those have gone out on my truck yet. 75K miles and still no major issues except for the EGR failure at 22K miles. Still under Ford extended warranty, so i cant mess with it too much right now, in case something serious does happen and I run into a hiccup. but that expires in November.
