o-ring vs non oring heads
I am going to go with a carb'ed blow through turbo set up and wanted to get some opinions on o-ring vs non o-ringed heads. I have never dealt with o-ringed heads before. Are they better? If so why? If not why? I am assuming you have to have a special head gasket to use o-ringed heads, is that true? Thanks for any feedback.

I tossed this around....but I came to the conclusion that I want a fuse. I want the gasket to burn hopefully before it scorches the head or block between the cylinders or takes a piston out if something is off on the tune
Yes you'll need special gaskets for the o-rings and there not cheap, but neither is good non-o-ring gaskets for boosted apps

Go Non O-Ringed and use an MLS gasket. Just make sure your not way lean or have major detonation, even a little and you are fine. The fuse statement I think is nothing more than moot point. I have heard many people say it, but have yet to agree with it. I have seen burned pistons with regular Fel Pro's as well.

Sure they will still burn a piston...have you seen head and block damage on an o-ring set-up when stuff goes wrong?
MLS gaskets all the way, just make sure the deck is smooth and flat.
