Upgrade Mustang?
Upgrade Mustang?
Okay, I have been getting different responses about this one. I asked a couple Ford people at work, and they said go for it, it would be fun, but other people say its a waste of time. So I figured who else to ask but my second family--THE FORD FORUM. (Sorry I haven't been able to get out on Saturdays, car still broke...will be getting back soon--going down Friday to check up on it)
Thanks to all!!!!!
Be nice too!

Ok, I said make it a beast, but.. it really can't ever be a beast. Do a little bit, but don't try to go overboard with it. It doesn't really have tons of potential. If you do decide to go all out, call Tony at Need-4-speed. He's got a nice supercharger kit for the 3,8's...

You could get the thing to run in the 13's with a blower kit and some other bolt-ons that will not hurt the car to much. Plan on spending $4,000
Or you could just put a 50-75 shot on it and some bolt-ons and take the easy route. Do not let NOS scare you either. With plenty of fuel you can run it with no problem. Plan on spending $1,500
Just realize the expense and either commit to it completely or just leave it alone.
It would be a cool import killa'.

all i have to say is there is nothing like a sleeper........there are a few V6 stangs and f-bodies running around town in the 12s with under 3k invested.....and they have a shit load of respect from the V8 boys (being they can back half them)........also, there is a issue of 5.0mag i think it was like 6-9 monthes ago and it had a feature of the v6 stangs, there was a lot of them that were in the 11s which i think is just sick.....check out kenny bell they are doing a lot of work with the new V6 stangs.

do some mods, make it faster, but dont be mad when it's not as fast as you expected.. and or gets beat...
just take it for what it is, yes it will become faster, no it will not dominate the track.....
