Default Guide plate help

Do windsor sr heads require spacific guide plates? I bought a set of guide plates but the rockers don't sit right on the valve stem which leaves me to believe that they require a spacific app. If so what.

Please re-read what you posted, hopefully your not serious.
guide plates have nothing to do with rockers. Pushrod checker is your friend

forgot what brand but they do make adjustable guide plates I know on my SBC Darts they had to have them. It looks like they are split in the middle and you can slide them either way.

also check the push rod holes inside the head to make sure there is enough clearance and some heads are off due to core shift
