Default Anyone have a Flex-a-Lite electric fan?

To add to the list of aggrivations in my daily life, the Flex-a-Lite 5.0L specific electric fan decideed to take a dump on me. When you mess with any of the wires, the internal relay will rapidly click. I am on my way down to my garage to further diagnose/break/curse at the problem. If anyone has one and still has the original documentation, I would like to find out if there is some sort of warranty. Thanks ahead of time.

Yeah, I do. I dunno what the limits are...I will try to find out for you by later today though.

And Road Rage, if you could, see if there is any sort of warranty on the thing. After some investigation, either the relay or the rheostat is shot...it just won't do anything but click alot. Save that reciept and warranty card in case it happens to you.

Flex-a-lite Corporation warrants to the original purchaser that all Flex-a-lite products are to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. thats what i got off the paperwork.

Besides that that are you happy with it? I'm thinking about turning some of my accesories to electric. Was there a noticeable gain in power. Any problems in installation?THANX!

I personally don't have any experience w/ electric water pumps but unless is it a race-only car I don't think I would get one. I've heard they are not as reliable.
