Ok, 92 Lincoln Towncar. 4.6 L motor.

Has a miss on pass side.

Replaced plugs.

Miss still there.

pulled plug wires one at a time and determined it was #4 on the passenger side missing. Put in a non-fouler on the plug because the old plug had crap on it when I pulled it.

Miss still there.

Replaced Coil pack.

Miss still there.

Any other ideas? Motor has about a kajillion miles on it because it's a limo. This weekend, I'm putting more on it because I'm driving it (miss or no miss) up to Louisiana for another fight.

I would like to try to solve this issue first though, if possible.

did a compression test yet? new wires/coil/plugs/injectors. Wont fix bad/low compression.... "crap on plug" may indicate a long term problem.... Does the car smoke any?

 

Doesn't smoke at all. No compression test done yet...I'll dig out the gauge tomorrow b4 getting wires.
