Default Traction Control ON or OFF

I have a question, are the newer cobras and GTs faster with traction control on or off? Or does it even matter.

traction control does 3 things to control wheel spin. Retard Timing. Turn off injectors. Apply the brakes (@ speeds less then 65mph).

If you want to be fast, turn it off. A good driver can modulate and eliminate wheelspin more efficiently than the computer the way that mustang traction control is implemented.

Definately makes a difference. My mother's slightly modded Cobra feels like it runs into a brick wall flooring it from a 10mph roll in 1st with the traction control on.

I'm not too sure about the new GT though. My girlfriend has a 2001 GT, and the car is slow with or without the traction control on. Damn limp wristed modular motors.
