$30,000 base, thats almost the same as the gts have been for a few years, except for maybe a $3000 increase

Possibly. But somehow on highly anticipated cars there always seems to be a "surcharge" above MSRP that seems to get stuck on there by the dealers.

And really, there's nothing in a 400hp plastic and paper car that's worth $30,000 unless there's a horny, kick ass chick in it with a bottle of booze and a brown paper bag with $20,000 in it for you.
