I think that slogan was for the trucks, but I am going to use it for my mustang. After the adjuster looked at it, it appeared mainly to have body damage. The only thing that I saw under the hood was that the airbox was crushed and a few hoses were broke. The interior was fine except for airbag deployment. There was a crack in the windshield. And of course all of the massive body damage! The shop said that I could have it back in a couple of weeks...YEAH!!! I cannot wait to have my car back!!

hey if you need airbags i am selling mine. most colision shops sell them for like 1400 all i want is 600......this way you can get the shop to say that they are 1400 and you can pocket the rest of the money.


anyway, good to hear you are getting you car back.

 

airbags is another way to rip people off, 1400 for new air bags, thats worthless kinda.....1400 is direct nitrous setup.

 

I called the shop today to have them fax me over the estimate...the best part is that there is zero listing for any major engine damage. So far it lists radiator(obviously), airbox, horn?(not sure why--it worked when the car was towed, just disconnected the battery), something to do with the battery(can't read it due to a bad fax machine), a/c compressor, something about tranny(again bad fax), and a ton of hoses!!

I will call the shop tomorrow just to verify and to see how long it should be.
