Custom Chip Question
How is this deal for 200 bucks chip and burnt...

Chip Specs:
Burned specifically for '97 4.6L w/4R70W A/T
Firmer transmission shifts
Removed tip in spark retard
Remove spark reduction during shifts
Revised shift pattern for more performance feel
Faster manual downshifts.
Higher speed limiter
Higher rev limiter
Higher WOT shifts
Revised fuel table
Revised spark table
Improved engine braking when at closed throttle (t/c lock up settings)
Turn cooling fan on sooner
Revises torque converter function to eliminate shudder and allow it to run cooler
Adds about 10 RWHP(requires use of premium fuel)
Removes auto-overdrive shift at high RPM (O/D stays off)

Sounds like a bargin I paid $320 for mine. Have you checked around to see if this guy has a good reputation? With JMS I know when I have a problem I can send it back and get it resolved. It makes a world of difference in my car, probably the best mod for the money to date.

I would say that is a good deal, but I have never heard of them before and a good deal of compianies in there infancy stages suck. Even Daiblo had a few yrs before he got his shit togther. (Steve Daiblo started SuperChips, and now has his own line.)
