Probably a long shot but...
Who knows!!!
Basically..I have been going through soooo many situations on how to finally own myself a nice Foxbody coupe. It is really driving me nuts.
I am wondering though if its faster or smarter to build(convert 4cyl) or buy a v8 coupe already.
One of my plans were to put my car back to stock looks(since i have a cobra hood and bumper) i could get some good money from that and just save from my pay checks. I know my stock 95 gt could atleast sell for 2000-3000 maybe. And if i were to save up like 3-4k i would be set to buy myself a nice coupe.
The other is to save up enough money to buy a coupe shell and find a donor car and swap everything over and then sell my car afterwards for some money but nor do i have the knowledge, space, tools, and time to even think about that....But it could be done.
And for money i work part time and will be going to school soon so i will be living with my parents for a little longer and i really don't have bills. Just $50.00 a week.
Any Opinions from you guys would awesome and greatly appreciated!
lol hopefully people look at this! haha!

If all you really want is a 5.0 coupe, then just buy one done. Just like Tommy said, if you buy a nice coupe 4cyl, and buy a cheap 5.0 something to swap everything over, you'll end up spending more. The cheap donor will most likely be beat to death.
We should've done a 4cyl car for Wendy, cause we spent good money for a good coupe and in the end the only thing we left alone was the int and paint. You name it, we changed it. And that's why my zephyr is a 6cyl and will all be changed.

I think its definitely cheaper to buy one done. BUT like John said, when you build them from the ground up, you know EVERY SINGLE nut/bolt/wire etc. You put it together exactly how you want it done. And you dont have to worry about buying someones pieced together problem. I am in no way saying that you will get a problem car, but you always take that chance. If I was buying a put together car, I would try to buy one with little mods. If it is highly modded, it has probably been driven hard and then you have to worry about torn torque boxes, twisted subframes etc. There are definitely pros and cons to either situation.

Definetly cheaper to buy one complete. Or put your car up for trade and someone may be interested. Or you could sell your car, and buy the one Ray has for sale. Nice coupe.

I had been looking for a good 8 years to find a clean LX 5.0 fastback. I finally found a good deal on a clean survivor. I had just saved and waited patiently till one came along and then when it did, I was ready to pull the trigger. Good ones are out there. Don't rush into a basket case.

Great advice, Repped.
Reasy, have you ever driven a Fox? Their small and uncomfortable. Only thing they have going for em is weight savings and the aftermarket for em is huge. Now im 6'2 200lbs, not a fat guy but not a small guy either and honestly if you're gonna get a Fox why not just get a Mark VII? All they are is a oversized, comfortable and classy Fox. Plus the a/c systems in them go forever!
But I really shoudn't be talking, Ive owned about 20 Fox's and have a '93 GT that hasnt seen the sun in like 3 months
Good luck on your search dude!

Don't rush. There are plenty of them out there, the right one will come up sometime.. mine took 13 years to find. and that is no lie. (a lot of that time was searching through northern rust buckets while I lived in Michigan..)
Don't "settle" for a car.. know you are getting what you want. Mine took about 15 minutes of looking over and I knew it was what I wanted.
