check engine light

Default check engine light

the light came of yesterday night. so i called bill currie and they said its $40 to tell me a code and $80 to tell me its a code and what it actually is. a firend of mine used to work at stadium LM and he did it for me and too a wopping 20sec to tell me what was wrong with it wish i still have that connection can somebody tell me another place to get this done or have a computer to do it with? thanx for the help

My check engine came on before and I just looked it up in the Haynes manual and I checked some sensors and hoses that may of been losen, and it went away, easy. Seen anything that doesnt feel right like accel., surging?

when i looked under my hood i noticed a weird noise coming from around the TB, so i checked the connections of wiring and other stuff like that but the light is still on. ill look not thuro (sp) at it and see what i can find. thanx

oh and i got 200miles to the tank which sux for a V6

Auto Zone will check it and tell you the code for free.

discount auto and all them sell code scanners for like $30, its a good investment id say, u can use it to reset codes also, ive had mine for a few months now,its not the best one,its kinda hard to read the codes at times but, its funtional...

good idea but it still does fix whats wrong with it. ill stop at Auto Zone tomorrow.

just drop a carbed 302 in it, then you wont have check engine lights
