I picked up one and want to make power on a budget. I have a cobra crank and am upgrading the pistons/rods.

What else is needed for power mods that are cost effective.

 

cobra intake with shortened runners
cobra intake cams
intake/exhaust
and 456s will get you moving

 

I have 3.90 gears and im not ready to change until i grenade the rear 28 splines.

Being you're upgrading the bottom end, toss in the Cobra intake cams and toss on the Cobra intake and shove a 125 shot down her throat.
