boxig? welding stock upper and lower control arms

Default boxig? welding stock upper and lower control arms

so i was thinking about gettin a set of control arms. do you guys think that if i welded and boxed in the stock ones it would make them a little better cuz i have alot of free time and no free money. lol so lmk what you all think.

Boxed will stiffen them...but you would need to put some good poly bushings in them to be worth while. They sell some cheap non adjustable tubulars on E-gay with poly bushings for cheap.

i can get a set of poly bushing from energy suspention for 40 dollars.

I think the chepo's are 9x.xx something with bushings powder coated. Before the aftermarket blew up, boxing was the alternative, just as stong, just heavy. If your not concerned with weight, I'd box them
