removing the heart shape in the chamber makes an NA head a turbo head. The only difference in the valvetrain is the turbo motors got stainless exhaust valves. You won't bend one, you'll melt one at high HP.

actually the valves are inconel ,way better than a severe duty stainless, thats why a lot of guys leave the stock valves, also I have used the na head and re-shaped the chamber, also had hardened seats installed and boport springs with a ranger roller cam. that is in my nephews turbocoupe. that is one of the heads I got from you dave a couple years ago I think.

bitch thats soooo much BS!! name three... hahaha im telling you now you'll blow a forged piston and I-beam svo block at about 500hp 450hp is the limit. there na blocks are 9:1 compression and nickal content in the block is almost non existant lol. your lucky to get 300hp off an na for more than a few months. im limping on an na block and head right now trying the build my good engine and 10lb is scary... its kinda like "hmm if i get into the boostat 20mph will it blow time i hit 65mph or hold for one more run lmfao

listen just buy a fully dressed svo engine and i have a PK-1 computer you can repin the truck for. you'll save way more money.

Well what your quoting me on is the head information which if you look a few posts below I fixed my mistake over being a tard not mentioning to reshape the chamber to remove the heart shape producing less compression and upgrading to the turbo valve train. As far as bottom ends, again, the guys I have spoken to have had success with the n/a blocks just changing all the internals out to that of the svo motors (rods, pistons, crank, etc). Never stated to use all n/a and slap a turbo on it.

Heres my project motor case your wondering. Currently in car, just gotta finish fabricating the intercooler/ac condenser/radiator mounting. I hope it doesn't go pop lol.
