if your set on buying a new car, and it being a v6 i would suggust waiting for the new v6 mustang to come out

im assuming with the GT jumping up 100+hp the v6 will have quite a big more power as well?

but i could be wrong...

The 2011 v6 Mustangs will have like 305 hp out of a 3.7 liter v6.

My stepbrother has an '06 V6 with twin turbos and a front mount from a 3000GT VR4. Car made 327whp on 12psi. Pretty decent for spending 160 bucks on a used turbo setup.

I can see why people would want the V6 though. Their pretty strong foundations. Alot lighter up front and if you pick one up cheap, toss a turbo or s/c on it and beat down on GT's for half of what you would pay for a GT.

+1

I almost bought a v6 and wanted to stroke it and boost it, but it just can't beat that v8 sound and torque... Even though my car would be REALLY lucky to pull out a mid-14 pass down the 1,320, it's a blast to drive, and gets looks all day long when driving through parking lots, just from good old v8 rumble!

My mom has a 2010 V6 its a pretty good little car, sticks to the road real nice, look a hell of a lot better than the 05-09s, but like 2v and gts said the 2011 V6 will have 100 more hp and the GT is going to have the 5.0. So start puttin money in the piggy

Wait for the 2011 GT to come out and the leftover 2010 GT's will be on sale for cheap.

Just me, but hard to imagine consciously buying a new V-6 Camaro or Mustang.

But, better drive them both. I bet the Camaro feels much stronger. From what I have read the V-6 version seems like a nice car.
