smog pump question

Default smog pump question

ok i have 92 GT and i was wonderin if i delete my smog pump, will it affect my gas mileage in a good way?

I have a like new smog pump delete kit if you need it so you can keep the factory belt $30

ok thanks guys. i just heard it helped it and then other people would say if i kept it would help.

and yea i would like to get that pump delete, but im kinda short on money right now

Use it as a vacum pump and free up some power

Run suction side to valve cover on one side... the pressure to a catch can, vent the other valve cover

Very cool idea, and if it gets some oil mist will likely keep it from seizing.

When run as a smog, it doesnt get any oil mist....but I wonnt hurt it
