Default Moisture from tailpipe

07 F-150 5.4
BEFORE-- For a while now, on a night when it would be a lttle foggy, not really cool out my truck will have steam coming from tailpipe.....noticed sitting at train tracks at night, no other vehicles will have steam coming from them, while mine has a steam cloud and some condensation coming from exhaust.

NOW- that it is cold out, there is water (condensation) steadily coming from the tailpipe. Also there is water leaking from the muffler!

Truck is completely stock....nothing modified. It doesnt run hot, always normal tempature and antifreeze level stays the same. Runs fine, no issues what so ever.

Steam doesnt seem normal nor the amount of condensation coming from exhaust. Any logical ideas?

H2O is a natural by-product or hydrocarbon combustion. Combine that with the humidity the engine ingests naturally with cool air, it will condense and be visible.

Why your truck does it more than other cars... It will be more noticeable when your vehicle is cold. Other than that, I dunno.

This is normal. The more efficient that your engine is, the more suseptable it is to this. Now, it shouldn't have a HUGE freaking CLOUD around you which engulfs not only your truck, but the others around you as well for a 3 car radius. In that case, it is likely a leaking head gasket. Have you checked the radiator water level?

It was no odor or color what so ever. Until yesterday, I wasnt too concerned, until the muffler was running like a faucet!

Sometimes I almost think I hear gurgling in my mufflers from my Impala it spits so much water, but it's always clean and I've never had any cooling or any type of performance problems.
