?
What color is the smoke? White, bluish or black?
White is steam = cracked head or blown head gasket.
Bluish = oil burning. If it's a puff after startup, it's valve seals. Continuous blue smoke could be PCV stuck or bad rings. Could also be a headgasket.
Black = unburned fuel. Timing is way off or one or more injectors are stuck open. Fuel pressure too high.

Yes i had the heads checked everything came up great, i believe the only reason water was boiling was because i over filled the raiadtor and all the excess had to make its way out, i ran the car again after posting all this and it idled fine, but when i went to drive it i got maybe half way around the block and the car stalled on me while makin a turn shifting from third to second? Like i pushed in the clutch and when i went into neutral i saw the tach go from 1500 to 1000 to 500 to 0
When the motor is cool, pop off the radiator cap and start it up. Let it run with the cap off till it gets up to tempature and the thermostat opens and the water is flowing good in the radiator. Let it run and let any gases / air out of the system that may be trapped (shouldnt take but a few seconds once the t-stat opens). Top off the water level and watch your water in the radiator. There should be no more bubbles at this point.
You may have filled the radiator with water but not the motor. Be sure the T-stat opens and the level is full before you put back on the cap. HTH

you cant overfill the radiator .its supposed to be filled to the top. You should probably pull your plugs and make sure everything is alright. You really had the ehads checked? If so why did you say the head gaskets blew because of the waterpump? How did you have them checked ? Magnafluxed and straight edged . or whiz wheel and brakeclean? He's right , if you didnt wait for the stat to poen , you didnt fill it completely. How much coolant did it take? Did you forget a vacuum line or something, causing it to stall ?
I had the heads magnafluxed by a local shop, and i know you can not overfil the rad. but i re filled it after water ran through the motor and was in the overfil causing to have to much water and overflowing out of the overflow does that make sinse? Sorry if i did not explain it corectly, but i put all new plugs, wires, gaskets, water pump, timing chain cover and thermostat when i went in and tore the engine apart.
if the head gasket is on backward it will run hot fast, like just driving around the block.
you can tell, most head gaskets have a piece that sticks out on the side of the gasket that goes forward.
look just in front of the front bottom head bolt you should see a piece of the gasket sticking out,if it is sticking out behind the back lower head bolt they are on backwards
