I think what he is trying to say is that its a dumped Y-pipe.In that case it would sound kind of mean in the higher rpms. Or maybe somebody did a custom exhaust system for him shit Ive seen civics split up into two mufflers!:confused::confused::confused:

to answer this question they come stock with a Y pipe but if you buy any off-road h-pipe it will hook up to the exaust manifold no problem but to run the dual out back that is when you have to buy the little peice that splits it. in other words the V6 pipes are set up just like a V8 but they lead into 1 muffler and then go just one pipe back.
