Default Upgrading a power steering rack in an older fox

Anybody replaced there rack?the car I just got has a really shitty sloppy rack,feels like a 4cyl car.I would like to upgrade it to a newer tighter rackAny suggestions?Thanks

94+ racks, 03 cobra racks are popular. i think you have to get a steering shaft adaptor to do it though.

I might be reading it wrong, are you looking specifically for a power rack? Or just a new rack with nice ratio?

Yeah man,I bought a 85 gt and the power rack in it sucks ass.I want to put a better power rack in it.sorry I should of been clearer

Just put a new rack in it with new poly rack bushings will make all the diff in the world if original is worn out

reman from autozone.$74.00 plus $18.00 core charge. i just put this 2.25 turns to lock rack/pinion in my coupe.the stock 5.0 rack is 3 turns to lock.4cyl rack is 3.5 turns to lock.
