I was at the gas station and filled it up all the way and when i left the smell didnt it got really strong so when i got home i looked through the car and i found a puddle of gas where the spare goes and so i clean it up and some more comes bubbling up from a pin size hole in the trunk right under the spare and then i look underneath and see it also coming out the top of the gas tank not by the hole in the trunk. any ideas??? could it just be a hole in the top of the tank or hose or what someone know something about this??

how do you know its that? and is it bad or dangerous to drive it like this?

 

If that was me I would start to call lots of people because the fumes can ignite with little spark or a cig.

 

but it never did it before it happened right when i filled it up all the way and now i cleaned it all up and start it and it doesnt leak now???? im lost?? could it be an overflow line i dont think so but why is there a hole for the fuel in the trunk??

 

If it is a leak in just the one spot then I would just try to fix the hole but it sounds like multiple places so rather then messing with things I would just get a fuel cell.

before you do that i would run it a little bit more to see if you keep leaking gas sometimes you could have just filled the tank up too much and the pressure of the gas is making it leak.

 

ok i figured it all out the guy i bought it from drilled there to put a ground for an amp or something and when he drilled he drilled straight into the tank what a moron im just gonna get some poxy or something and fill it in but thanks for your help.
