There is a place in Tampa where you can rent Jags and Prowlers. Thatd be fun. Otherthan that Id say rent a new Eclipse. Think they have em at Dollar Rental. What SCCA class would the Vic fall into? H stock???
Why does everyone only run out in G-ville??!! Anyone know about the PCA event in Z-Hills? Its on the 28th. Should be fast course. Its 500 wide by 4000 long!

 

The only problem is that most autocrosses wont let you run rentals. And in the contract you sign at the rental car agency it clearly states that racing the car in any event is a no-no. Not like I would care but most autocrosses will make you show proof of insurance for the vehicle you are running...you dont get that with a rental car.

 

Hell yeah I can run a rental! It happens all the time. Frank raced a rental for a few events while his Supra was being rebuilt. And Solo2 events are considered driver training by every insurance company... I wouldnt probably do it for a PCA event lol. Any of those rental cars come with a 5x4.5 bolt circle thatll handle my race tires? (Oh and one mroe thing about the rental... it doesnt HAVE to be any type of sports car... I was thinking something like an altima or some off the wall car that should never be autoXed.)

The Vic is in FS just like all other V8 sedans. You will see it race at least once... AND that might include a P71 vs P74 shootout between my father-in-law and his red P71 (police package) and my silver P74 (sport package). (but hes on Michelin Pilot Sports and I am on Goodyear Eagle LSs ::sad)

And the whole rental thing is because my friends car has a bad 2nd gear synchro and we both need a car to race so were going halves on it.

 

My next car will be a road race speedy lil fucker!! cant wait....Still gotta hit the 11.5s i have 4 secs to go .
