I'm almost positive that what was run on this car and it flushes them out nicely. This was on a 4 eyed car

With 17x8 wheels yeah. But 17x10.5 with 6.5 BS will not fit a fox with an SN95 rear axle width. And no more then a 275 tire back there.

Not with the backspace you listed but you could do a 10.5 with a custom wheel with more backspace

True,.. but then he would need like a 7.25 BS instead of 6.5.
$$$ right there.

Not saying a SN95 rear wont work. But does limit your wheel and tire choices.

I will be going to 5 lug in mine but staying with the fox width. I may eventually narrow the rear axle for mini tubs,.. but thats in the air and a long way away.

I think your right,.. but not 100% sure.

The original Cobra wheels were 17x8. The aftermarket made the 17x9 pretty popular. I'm not sure if the later Cobra wheels are 17x9 or not. I always thought they used 245/45 tires? 17x9 would use 275/40,.. and does fit in the front with little hassles,.. but will also rub in the front with certain suspension setups. Coil overs and 17x9 wheels even with 245/45 on 17x9 wheels would rub the springs with out a spacer. So I always thought they used 17x8 up front?
