yeah id have to say a carbed 302 would make alot more power than that old jet engine.....


especially at the wheels......

hell my car makes more power at the wheels than that focus.....

Shit...scooters make more power to the wheels not to mention my beast of a Slocus.

You guys know there is V8 kit for the focus that only requires some minor floor mods for the tranny makes it RWD. Full conversion using off the shelf FORD parts sponsored by Ford and built by some company as a KIT.
I forgot the link but Ill look for it for you.
It costs $10k if I recall.

Krugel makes the kit for the Focus. It is around $10k which doesnt cover the cost of the motor and tranny. Id love to do something like this but I dont think the car would do to well in an auto-x with this swap.

phatstang after seen your car at the show last weekend I am going to make a trip to the Ford dealer to look at buying one as my daily driver. Those things can look realy nice with minimal work.

Thanks man. It is a great choice for a daily driver with the occassional weekend auto-x. One of these days it will turn into my weekend fun car when I have the income and another car to drive around.
