Find the service ports. One will have a red cap and one will have a blue cap

One of the ports is on the top of the condenser on the drivers side, and the other is on top of the accumulator, at least according to my parts catalog here at work.

no offense , but if you have to explain this to your mom , maybe your mom shoouldnt be doing it ? Just a thought. You know how many A/C checks I get because someone thought they could charge their A/C them self ? About half of the ones I get in the summer have way to much freon because someone told them to do it themself
