Thanks for all the replies.
I would use 14-130's for drag purposes, no more then 14-150's

I use the 14-130's for both street and strip with great results.....

But.....rule of thumbs usually are around this for drag race setups.

-.5 to -.8 on the camber
3 to 4 on the caster
1/16 in total toe in

Again this question will probably arise alot of differant theroies so sit back and enjoy the ride.

Ride height is hard to determine over the internet. Alot of factors play into that. Just play with it till you find what works.

Those are good numbers to use IMO.....

Lot of the 3200 lb cars seem to run the 14-175's.

At least they're easy to swap out. And I need to start somewhere

Thanks for the numbers.

What is basically a good rule of thumb for ride height. Becuase as soon as you move the height, your also moving the alignment no?

Aside from it looks cool the way it sits high Does the car need to be level, give it a rake where the rear is higher. This if for a mid 9 second car.

Yes and no. In theory your toe should never change with ride height.

If you move the coil over up lets say a 1/4 to 1/2 inch you wont be too far off. But if you start moving the coilover over those numbers then yes your really going to start to see some alignment changes.

If you set the car level when you do the alignment then decided to rasie the ass end to get some rake your caster will also change along with it.

I know Mustangs look sexy as hell sittin low and level but its not always the best option unless the car was built that way (4 link rear, tubbed wheels wheels tuckin the tires)

Like this: http://image.musclemustangfastfords....front_view.jpg

Too many people buy coilovers and set them as low as possible then can not figure out why they will not hook

What kind of suspension you working with in the back?
