solid motor mounts?????

how rough will my car idle....??? i have a broken one and want to replace them with solid ones but not if my car will vibrate crazy..

anyone have solid or used them ??? how rough are they??? my car isnt cammed or anything and idle smooth now....


any info will be appreciated.. tahnks.!

Ford man is right. Youll feel like your in a funny car... just wont go any faster. Solid polyurethane and moly bushings and mounts for anything is going to make things very stiff/rigid..
Stock rubber mounts on the engine and and tranny are important if you dont want your car to vibrate like a mo fo.
On your suspension components its not as bad.
But any time you use those types its gonna be a rougher ride.

Get some OEM Ford Mustang convertable motor mounts. They are tougher than the regular coupe ones. Seen them handle all sorts of crazy motors with ease.
