Default Ignition problem (tumbler related)

Okay. Back about a month ago I posted I had problem with my car "bucking while driving"

Well fast forward a few weeks the problem is worse now. The car won't stay on without holding the key in the "on" position

Well this sorts my problem out I believe
If I change the ignition switch assembly will this fix the problem?

Replace a 1979-1993 Ignition Switch Assembly

It was the box that was worn out. The "slides".. It was funny I can feel a much better difference in the key action when I turn the car off and on.
