Default Damm It!!!

her we go boys.i started putting my 357w together today.i put my main studs in with the windagetray.after putting the oil pump and pickup on i test fitted the oil pan,it is a caton oil pan 7qt design.the problem is that when i sat the pan on it won"t go down.so i looked around and determind that the four studs where hitting the bottom of the oil pan.the pan hovers enough off the block to fit the tip of my finger under it.now i"m trying to figure out what to do now to make this thing work.i do"t want to cut the studs.mybe i need to modded the oil pan.any ideas.mybe shaun can shed some light on this for me.didn"t he just put a windsor in his coupe?any ideas guys.

i had the same problem with my 359w i used a moroso pan though (same shit lol) i ended up having to cut the 4 studs short (almost an inch) put a nut on them before cutting, after you cut them take the nut off to clean the threads up.

It sucks but you have to cut the ends of the studs off. I went through this a couple years ago.

Edit*
I'm just putting it out there.... You positive its a 351 pan? Canton part number 15-670?
