Default Could use some help big time

So today on my way to pick up a new speedo gear my hood decided to come loose at 40mph. No real damage but it won't stay latched. Does anyone know of a body shop in largo or clearwater that could install a set of hood pins today? Can't go without my car.

Its really simple to install hood pins.

I drilled into my core support. Installed the lower pins. Lowered the hood and 'eyeballed' where they were touching the hood and then drilled 2 holes for the pins to slide through. It really wasnt that difficult.

Shaun at American and Dave at Genuine are both right there in Largo. If you could get to them I have no doubt they could help you and for a very reasonable/affordable price.

I'd help you but I'm up in New Port Richey. I dont mean to sound like an ass,.. but being out of work I have to be careful how much I drive and where I drive my truck. If you dont mind throwing me a couple dollars for gas I'd drive down and help you. Normally I would NEVER ask for anything for something as simple as this.

Happened to my old boss at 60 mph. New windshield and body-worked roof later, he opted for hood pins. Go check out Shaun at All-American though. He's right off 126th Ave, right before the US19 intersection.

when you set the pins in your core support put a small dab of paint or nail polish on them and touch the hood down on them it will leave a paint dot and you will know where to drill!!
