a friend of mine just picked up a 2000 v6 vert and to me there is just something real sketchy about it. i was asked if i knew anyone that could do a run down on it and see if there is anything funky with it. friend live's in gidsonton.

 

Run down on what? Are you wanting someone to look at the car (mechanical) or a title search?

 

mechanical. it has hit something head on but only hard enough to bust up the hood a bit and push that little grill in a little. when i hit the throtle on it its response is horrible for accel and deccel. it just feels funny. its one of thoughs things that you sit in it while its running and even though you dont hear anything wrong you can just tell that there is something not right.

 

prolly ran that bitch under the ass end of a truck or some shit. i'll work on it, labor is 25 an hour plus parts cost. could just need a major tune up. the throttle responce on v6 fords is nothing to brag about anyway.

 

i dont know if it needs work, well im sure it does. i was just trying to see if anyone was handy with them or knew how to mess with them to make sure its alright. and i know they are nothing to brag about but i have drove a few myself and they are pretty impresive for what they are worth.

 

I'm a firm believer in trusting you instinct....If something is too good of a deal...it probably is. Something dont seem right pass on it

 

same here. now she paid 3 grand for it. i would not have done it myself. and i told here 3 grand could of gotten her a nice v8 fox for what she paid. so yeah if anyone is interested in taking a look at it let me know. i'll get the phone numbers and exchange them for all involved.
