Do a Ford econoline 250 and a Ford f 150 extended cab have the same engine and transmission?

Year and motor size would help. Both of those vehicles came with 4.2, 4.9, 5.0, 5.8, 429, 460, 6.0 diesel or 7.3 diesel depending on the year. BUT>>>>>>> if they are the same saize then they are the same motor.
