Question 68 cougar build, got questions

anyone kno of a posi set up or locker for a 8inch ford rear end? or if italready has one? its a XR7 so im not even sure

idk yet cuz its gutted at the moment

Sure its not a 9"? The Early housing 9's have same appearence as the the 8".

If its an 8" dont think they offered a factory locker like the 9's

yea im not even sure yet, i just got it like a month ago.

ya think they make aftermarket lockers for the 8?

i dont think its as popular as the 9inch, only reason im beefing it up is cuz i dont have a ton of money to blow on the car.

Aftermarket yes, I was thinking along the lines of a factory locker.

yea

i have a 351 with a c4 so im thinkin a locker with a set of like 3:73gears or sumtin like that. i just enetered the ford world so im not sure yet, im used to GM

False. The pinto GT's came stock with a locker 8" rearend. I know...I have two of them. They were geared with 3:40 gears.One of mine has 3:40's and the other has 4:11's.
