i have a turbo'd 4banger as most of you all know and i was wondering if anyone makes a shift kit for this terd of a tranny lol, or what exacly it takes to step up to the AOD!!!! i want a full manual valve body tranny or at least a rachet shifter tranny! but for now a shift kit will do lol.

ok but are they bolt in for a 4banger? input shaft and all that crap? you know chevies suck but at least most of their shit is interchangable(thats why their never on the side of the road you know! you can fix em so damn fast, with truck parts none the less lol)

i think u have to buy the backin adapter plate, or a diff bell housing. drop ur trans and compare. the input shaft is diff i beleive.

 

There were many Mustang II's, Pinto's, Bobcat's and such that had 2.3's with C4's through the years..... If you look on eBay there are 4cyl C4 bell housings from time to time..... Once you get the bell the rest of the trans is easy because it bolts to any C4, just make sure you get a 70-up C4.....

 

alright cool, how much do those bellhousings run normally? and other than the bell its a derect swap?

 

ok did some looking and answered both Q's i had lol i need to stop being so damn lazy lol, ok anyone have a 2.3 to c4 bellhousing then?????

that thing soungs like a hack job! its been welded, shaved down, patched... and im not into buying off egay i have never once bought something that wasnt a pos, and thats a lot of mula for a part thats been hacked like that! thanks though man.
