What year and platform would help.

8.8 is used in alot of cars and trucks. 3 different widths used in the 79 - 04 Mustangs alone,.. not counting the 05 - 10 models.

Be a little more specific if you can.

If its for a mustang I have heard you can go out and get an 8.8 out of a ranger or explorer and it will have the 3.73 ring and pinion gears in it. Youll have to swap the disc brakes for the ones that go on a mustang but it should all go together.

If its for a Mirage,.. thats a pretty small car. Dont quote me,.. but I would imagine the housing and axles would need to be narrowed for an 8.8 to fit correctly.
