Default Gotta Question?

I have a 95 gt that is my driving project. I am wanting to throw a decent cam and head combo on and not sure what to put in. Was thinking bout gt40 heads but still not sure about the cam. Also maybe down the road a little bit of nitrous. If anyone has any info please let me know i am in need of guidence. =)

Cant go wrong with gt40 heads, cobra intake, and an e303 cam for a DD.

hell yes!!! is it an auto or stick? GT40 heads, try to get the GT heads and not the GT40P heads, the P heads have crazy angled spark plugs and u have to buy special headers for em.

I personally had a lot more luck with the P heads, car def. made more usable power.
I used mac long tubes and never had a problem with my p heads on my 95 with a small custom cam and a 175 shot for 3 years. I've had regular gt40 heads twice and have been unimpressed both times.

IDK about the heads....but with the cam...I DO know about it.

Your goals are important here.

If you do NOT have a modified computer or a chip, then your cam choices are limited. Anything other than the Steeda 19 cam will leave you with a hunting idle. The Steeda 19 cam is made SPECIFICALY for the 94-95 computers. I have it in mine. It's not too lopy at all, and actually gave some decent power over stock. (no specific numbers, but I could FEEL the difference) If you try to use an E-303 without doing some sort of modification to the computer (stand alone, chip, diablo, whatever, SOMETHING) then it will hunt for an idle.

This was my last set-up with an F-cam and it ran suprisingly well.

Depending on your budget, you can buy a nice set of aluminum heads or if your in no hurry, shop around for a known good set. There's deals out there if you have a little time.... but be ready to buy when they come up..wont last long

Shortblock is what you should worry about with the nitrous. Dont go all crazy ricerish with it and it will hold up.
