Easy question

So I just did my brakes and a guy I work with said I should get newer cobra calipers and put them on it. I told him they won't fit. he swears up and down they are a direct swap. True or false? I like to rub his misconceptions in his face lol.

after you do 5 lug spindle swap, they are a bolt on.
