Default Holy Hell.... were any of you guys aware of this?

Apparently, us modular guys are getting a set of aftermarket cylinder heads. What does everyone think?

They're supposed to flow something like 240 cfm right out of the box. Not bad for a 2v head,.. but the Pre PI SVO heads already did that. Plus for $2000 its kinda pricey when used 4v heads flowing 290 - 325 cfm can be had for 75% less. I dunno,.. I like the idea the 4.6 is finally getting aftermarket head support,.. but they still cant beat Ford stock heads.

^^^ Werd to yo mamma. The price of 4v heads have gone down considerably. Especially 99-01 ("C" heads) can be had for 350-400$.

If I was still into the mod motors I'd give you $75 for them.

Hmm... Ive heard its a pain in the ass to go from 2v to 4v heads. That and these heads are pretty much a drop in replacement. Works with factory shortblock and everything. You know what they say though, you have to pay for convenience.

Although, now that you guys have mentioned those heads that doesnt sound like a bad deal either going from 2v to 4v heads. Thats something I might be interested in if I ever get the money to rebuild my engine.

4v swap is not hard . it cant be done very cheaply as long as you know the right people such as me lol. it also depends on what setup u want to do.
