I think Ive decided on the Steeda shifter for my Mustang. Does anyone have any opinions about this or recomendations on another one? Also where could I find the best price? I really need to get rid of the crap stock one.

Check out the website listed in sig. Any aftermarket shifter will do. As long as it has the built in stoppers to prevent shiftfork bending youll prolong tranny life.

Pro 5.0

Never miss 3rd.... percise feel in the shifts.... and it has the stoppers too. If you want a more luxurious feel I wouldnt get it.... I have no complaints about it.

I favor the Tri-Ax over the Pro 5.0 for the daily driver. The angle of the shifter handle makes it a little easier to drive for taller people who need to put the seat all the way back. It also seems a bit smoother than the Pro 5.0

Thanks for the info everyone. I might go ahead and order it through Stangnet. Its nice having this forum to communicate. I had Flowmasters put on today. That and the shifter will probably be all Ill do to it for now.
