The easiest and most simple (least amount of headaches) way to go (IMO) is using ranger axles and explorer drums on the rear. Both just replace the stock parts. No modifications needed.

On the front use 99 - 04 GT spindle/hub with rotor and caliper. 99 - 04 GT's used PBR calipers. Better then the 94 - 98 calipers with smaller brake pads.

Disk brakes on the rear is really over rated. 90% of your stopping is done by the front wheels only.

If you want disc brakes on the rear,. the easiest and most simple would be to swap a 94 - 98 GT rear axle. Another simple bolt in. This will how ever limit your wheel choices for the rear. The SN95 axle width is wider then fox. Anything more then a 9" wheel will not be possible with stock back space. 10" wide (or wider) wheels will end up sticking out past the fender and you will risk shredding the tires. Even with a 9" wheel and 275 tire you may have some rubbing.

The other options for discs on the rear are SVO brakes, Lincoln brakes or aftermarket brakes. In either case you will need the brackets to mount the rotors.

I believe they have a bracket kit that will allow you to use SN95 rear calipers and rotors. I recall reading something about it. I'm sure some of the guys who know more about it will chime in and give you better info then I am right now.

Personally I would want to keep the stock fox width in the rear if you go with discs in the back. Do a google search on it. There are a ton of articles, and how to's with pics and what parts to use.

if you want to do it the cheap hey you can run 86 mark 7 front rotors without abs and then for the rear two drivers side ranger axels and 9" drums and your done but if you want to be able to run more wheels then use 94-95 front breaks v6 and gts are the same.
