Need help ID'ing a part out of an AODE
Hey guys, long time no see. I was changing the filter in my wife's car and found this in the pan. I have looked at schematics and can't figure out what it is or where it goes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i cant see the attachment.. if its a little white plug that looks like a round dreidle then it means that the transmission pan has never been dropped. that is the plug that seals up the dupstick hole until they push the dipstick in at the factory

took the words right otta my mouth. Ford coulda at least pulled it out instead of pushing it in the pan
