Odd head/block combo
Anyone know why someone would do this combo?
My 86 GT Fuel Injected has an 87-93 block with valve reliefs and a ported set of e6 heads with bigger valves...unsure on the cam size pretty good lope/duration though, there something I'm missing but wouldn't that make for a lower compression combo?, the heads don't seem to be milled down at all. The only thing I can think of is someone was hunting for some serious Forced Induction.
Unless the previous owner had a good set of heads on the car and threw the stockers back on?
What do you guys think ?

E6 heads came with flat top pistons/no reliefs i'm pretty sure, because of the shrouded valves from what it looked like when i had the heads off 6 months ago. The block is a 93 block by the casting number with reliefs in the pistons.
I put the headgaskets on because some fuktard put the gaskets on backwards making for an impossible to find overheating problem

yeah unfortunately no one gave me a book on whats been done to this car, it's like someone put a shit ton of cash into all the addons then dropped the project, I got it with a bad transmission, half stripped flywheel, and an overheating engine
.

Stock Ford escort automatic. I got a few people pissed off with my second run over at coastal though when my PS line blew on the dyno, that car had a turbo on it for a while, nearly 200whp, blew up the motor and sent it to the crusher, just a throwaway haha project
Tiffiny, Here's a pic of the car, some people on here knew some of the people that used to own it...I've had it for about 2 years
